Kettering University Alumnus Rod Kirkham has been educating consumers about Medicare and advising them on the many coverage options since 2010.

PHR was formed in 2019 to facilitate offering a single Medicare Supplement option to Kettering alumni on the Kettering/GMI Alumni Association’s menu of benefits and discounts.  In early 2021, PHR and the KGMIAA board decided to make this experience more personalized.  Alums in many states will be able to work personally with Rod to understand their Medicare options and make an informed enrollment decision.

PHR or it’s referral partners will be able to offer services to 80% of the alumni population turning 65 over the next several years.  PHR offers a Medicare Academy to educate consumers about the government’s Medicare program, enrollment timeframes, potential penalties for signing up late (or earning too much), and many other considerations.  PHR is affiliated with the Medicare Resource Center, Dayton, Ohio.
